Binaa for Democracy and Development organized a dialogue session in a partnership with Civic Laboratory Organization, within the framework of International Day of Peace in Elfashir. , under the theme: The Peace and the Reality of Peace Agreements in Sudan.
The dialogue was initiated by Mr. Malik Ali who presented the paper. The dialogue was led by Dr. Mohammed Abdelraheem. The presentation topics included: the concept of Peace and peacebuilding operations as a theoretical base, and reading on Peace agreements that were signed in Sudan with a concentration on Juba Peace Agreement of Peace of Sudan and its impact on social and political life in Sudan.
The participants sparked the discussion and opinions about the paper through their participations. So the participants appealed the necessity of making peace real in which the local communities can live in.
At the end of the session the participants recommended activating the role of the civil society and developing mechanisms to monitor the implementation of the agreement so that not to be like the previous ones.
The session was organized at the premises of the Civic Laboratory- Elfashir-22/September 2022.
